The subject almost says it all. I have a Sony 2010 -- a bit large
for
traveling. I also have a Satellit 800 -- "that's all I'm gonna say
'bout that!"

I should add that an alarm clock is an essential feature, and under
$100 would be great.

Sangean ATS606/Radio Shack DX-399.

For example--Over in three hours (not my auction):

Or to try to find another well cared for one since the DX-399 is
discontinued and the Sangean model goes for about $130 new. A very
neat travel radio with great sound-- although whip sensitivity could
be better, you can easily pick up the majors. Also variable alarm
settings and an annoying alarm tone that gets louder if you don't shut
it off. It's saved me on a couple of trips.

You may also want to check out some of the Degen and Kaito Chinese
stuff on eBay, although I'm not sure of their alarm capabilities.
