Actually, the best thrill for the $ is standing offshore and shelling the
everloving hell out of some *******(s) who truly deserve it!

One can hit their rack after a hard nights work and go to sleep with that warm
fuzzy feeling.

Can't be beat.

If you want to defeat someone, it helps to see through their eyes.

Crusades, Tripoli, 1920, Al Saud, Operation Ajax. Perception is
reality, moreso than ''truth''.

Doesn't sound like a "first thing we did was attack Muslims
on the other side of the world", with the implication that
it was preemtive in any way. If you want to build your
case, you'd better a) read the entry first, and not just
hope we don't read it, and b) learn a little history from
some books (I'd recommend Tindall's "America: A
Narrative History" volumes for a general overview)
before you sound off.

Hiroshima would have been sufficient. Nagasaki was just for fun.

There's debate over that too. An off shore blast using an old
battleship would have served as an example. The American military
wanted to see just exactly what the bomb would do to real humans, so
the decision to use hundreds of thousands lives as guinea pigs was
made. War makes scum out many sorts.

The birth defects after the war were atrocious. They set up special
hospital wards for some of them, just to keep the victims out of sight.

::yawn:: How original. I'm surprised you didn't bring
up the Romans and the Greeks to support your viewpoint.

If you want to defeat someone, do what Genghis Khan
did.

Nagasaki was because the Japanese didn't respond to
our demand for unconditional surrender.

Hey man! I disagree with those bombs but it was not for fun. I can't beleive
the stuff you people say sometimes. Is it just your total hate of America?
WTF!
