I hear what you are saying.. I already have several "high end"
receivers. I'm looking more for integrating the PC into this. Somehow,
the idea of using a PC to run a receiver never seemed like it would be
a low noise system. I'm more concerned about intermod and overloading.

I'm thinking of purchasing an Icom PCR-1000 and I'd like to reach out
to anyine who has one or has used one. Reviewing the comments I find
on line, it's a 50-50 split; some love it while others hate it.

Don't buy one if you're focussed on shortwave.
TheTenTec RX-320D will be the much better choice then.

PS: Have a look on my comment at 00:09....
Subject line: PC-based receivers any good?
