Clue: the Constitution was written to protect the rights of the
*minority* and to protect the opinions of the minority from being
brutally silenced by government or "King Mob". The relentless
demonization by the far right wing of anybody who doesn't see the world
exactly as they do is dangerous and could lead to the junking of the
Constitution in the name of "security".

While I understand your concern, one has to bear in mind that the Constitution is not a
suicide pact.
