If you wanted to spend less
then $100.00 and still get a good radio with lots of features, get the PL-550 and live with the Chinese markings. For $60.00, the PL-550 is a great value. At about $130, the E10 is not over priced, and it is still a good radio, but you can do better for your money. Does the Tecsun PL-550 / E100 employ "Dual Conversion"? If not stay away! The cheapest radio I would even look at is a Sony ICF-SW35 which goes for about $85. Dual Conversion 50 Memories Memory & Band Scanning Very easy to use. AND it actually works, as a Sony should. |
