active filter in the audio section cutting off at 5,000 Hz. Take an Icom
756 PRO, open the IF to 9KHz (a Drake can't do that, either)....sounds much
better. The PRO 6KHz AM filter selection sounds very much like the
-8B. ------


If you only listen to 'high quality AM' signals then you certainly don't need a
'756 nor a R8x...

Save your money.
