.....Most interesting and exciting catch to me was however
Bangkok Meteorological Radio. It was heard 6th December on 6765 kHz USB at 1535 UTC. Interval signal caught my attention. They announced transmission times 0-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-11, 12-14, 15-17, 18-20 and 21-23 GMT. On the announced frequency 8783.0 there was only a sound of telephone ringing and nobody cared to pick up. ;-) (Check it out yourselves.) 73's Jari Lehtinen Lahti, Finland (Via Hard-Core-DX Digest) ======================================= dxAce Michigan USA |

Then into talk by female anncr. Interval signal again at 1204. Interesting. Here is some further info. Actual frequency appears to be 8765.1: 8743.0U, Bangkok Meteorological Radio, partly detailed letter (time missing) in 3 wks, v/s Mr. Suparerk Tansrirattanawong, Director. Address : Bangkok Meteoro- logical Radio, Telecommunication Division, 4353 Sukhumvit Road, Bangna, Bangkok 10260, Thailand. According to an anmt hrd, they are b / cing wx bltns in EG and Thai on 6765.1 / / 8743 (ex-8208) at 0000-0200, 0300-0500, 0600-0800, 0900-1100, 1200-1300, 1500-1700, 1800-2000 & 2100-2300. Between the wx bltns a melody is hrd. I would put this station in the same category as the Turkish Met stn. (via http://www.schoechi.de/az-tha.html) dxAce Michigan USA |

At one point the woman announcer was mentioning thunderstorms. The report is sitting in my mailbox, even as I type! dxAce Michigan USA |
