Have you contacted the software's author, John Fallows? His support is
excellent and he goes the extra mile to help out with support issues with
ERGO 4.

I presume you've read the "Properties - Audio" section of the ERGO 4 help
file. Make sure you are using your LINE OUT level from your receiver, not
the speaker output.
