I've mentioned my rfi problems here in the past, but I just noticed
something I hadn't before. If I sit on a frequency where the rfi is

present
it will abruptly cease in about a minute, and move up or down in

frequency
roughly 30 kHz to occupy another point previously unaffected, and on and

on.
Is what I've described indicative of a particular source of rfi?

Got any Dewalt or Black & Decker rechargable tools
in the house that are plugged in on charge? My Dewalt
cordless drill can be in another outlet circuit on the
opposite side of he house and the base charger still
can put much noise into the R-71. Unplug them
and see if the noise dissapears.
