Local school officials in a suburb of Houston, Texas, are investigating
how it was possible that a school police officer handed out calendars to
students that featured explicit details on satanic and sexual rituals
for every day of the month.

Parents in Pearland are demanding answers, according to a news report on
KHOU-TV.

The school police officer who handed out the calendars was supposed to
deliver a positive anti-gang message to the students last Monday,
according to the report.

"September 20th is a 'midnight host' whatever that is," said one
unidentified parent reading from the calendar. "You should have a
blood-type ritual. September 23rd is the fall equinox you should have
an orgy. Activity group sex, any age, any sex."

[This article fails to explain why these activities are less positive
than gang-related violence. --ed.]

The father did not want to be identified because he feared his daughter

would be punished.

"They shouldn't be teaching the kids, at 12 years of age, a calendar of
satanism. It's just not right," he said. [Why am I hearing Hank Hill's
voice in my head? I mean, I *did* take my Happy Pills this morning...

Pearland school officials say some 25 students at the junior high
received the calendars. [If they can bear to part with them, they'll
soon be making more bux on eBay than the woman with the Virgin Mary
grilled-cheese sammich. --ed.]

"It clearly was a mistake," said Renea Ivy, Pearland ISD spokesperson.
"We don't want it to happen again and so it was not done with malice,
it was not done to promote satanism in any way on the campus. It was
just a mistake."

The officer said he got the packets from a anti-gang training course he
took. Officials say he neglected to take out the adult material. The
police officer remains on duty pending the outcome of an internal
investigation.

[Wonder if the "anti-gang training course" was put together by some
local holy-roller church with "expertise" on what all dem godless
heathens do for fun on the solstices and equinoces? --ed.]

Church outraged at devil's Christmas grotto

English vicars have banded together to protest against a Christmas
grotto in which Santa lies beheaded, his elves have been impaled and
visitors are greeted by the devil.

The York Dungeon has done away with Father Christmas and installed the
devil in his place.

Operators of the tourist attraction in the northern English city thought
they were just having a bit of fun when they created their macabre
version of a Christmas grotto.

But it is all to [sic ...sheesh! -ed.] much for local religious leaders.

Thirty have signed a letter outlining their fears, saying far from being
harmless fun it was all about darkness and evil which could draw some
people in.

[They used that excuse for "Hell House," too... though this sounds more
fun, cuz you don't have fundietardz preaching at you. Probably why the
vicars are cheesed off; they're not getting a cut of the action. -- ed.]

The dungeon operators say it is a lighthearted dig at the
commercialisation of Christmas.

It is not known if small children will be invited to sit on the devil's
lap or pull his beard. [Or any other part of the devil. -ed.]
