Oh, don't be silly. You call people
names all the time, and accuse them of at least as bad as anything I or anyone else accuses you of. Putting an emoticon next to an insult like a teenaged girl doesn't make it ny less of an insult. Just like wrapping yourself in a layer of sanctimonious pseudo-Christian boilerplate when it suits you doesn't make your often-expressed uncharitable and narrowminded positions any nicer. You're a bit of a hypocrite. Just learn to be comfortable with it. |

In the broader sense no one can easily recognize slant as such when they hear it if it agrees with their prejudices, but NPR news programming is very careful to present both sides of issues when there is controversy. Snip Sure thing Larry. By the way, are you selling any investor swampland or maybe pre-owned cars or how about multi-level marketing. You must think most people in the news group are pretty stupid. Now let's see: NPR has a slight leftward slant, coupled with a tendency to present information from recognized and experienced experts who really KNOW something about the subjects they cover. Maybe NPR has one or two radio stations in each market. Right wing talk radio dominates most AM outlets--at least here in the South--and presents many hours a day of radio "showmen" presenting their unsupported opinions in the most extreme and confrontive language they can possibly manage. Yep, it sure is unfair that those libs on NPR get to do what they do. Leonard -- "Everything that rises must converge" --Flannery O'Connor Leonard, The debate was whether NPR had a left-leaning antenna (which you thoughtfully acknowledge). That's absurd. Hate radio is paid for by advertisers who take tax deductions on the advertising expense, then jack up the price of their products to cover the advertising. As Americans, we are willing to give the government some of OUR money to function. You see it as all THE GOVERNMENT'S money, and they LET US KEEP some of it. We are the government. There is no ''they''.

It is best not to open your mouth if this is all you have to say. You
declare your ignorance and precognitions loudly when you say things like this, and you remove any and all credibility you have. We're all HAMs, can we act like we actually deserve our licenses please? Politics are politics, full of argument, prejudice, and hatred. Can we please drop the subject and lose the pre-teen attitudes and name calling? jeremiah dxAce wrote: Take a bath, 'tard boy. |
