TIA Make sure you have a good impedence match to your receiver, make sure you have a good solid outdoor ground from said receiver, and try to find out by process of elimination what in or around your home is generating extraneous noise - shut if off while listening, if that's feasable. All of that may/might help some, but not as much as you are hoping for. Longwire antennas will inherently pick up noise, period. Loops are much quieter, but overall don't have the same signal pulling ability. Tony |
