, Looks like things are going down hill for a Sunday evening. Earlier New Zealand and Australia faded out and Radio Netherlands out of Antilles is sounding weak and noisy. Currently G1 level geomagnetic and S2 Solar radiation storms in progress. 1/17/05 2:00 UTC has G2, S3 conditions New Zealand and Australia noisy signals. For the last hour they both have been very good. Pretty crummy this evening. Not very good this evening either but better than yesterday. Currently Solar radiation storms in progress so if the whole path from a station to you is in the dark reception might be OK. Very good this evening. Radio Australia and New Zealand from the sunny side of the earth with big signals on the 19 meter band. Very good this morning from all parts of the globe far as I can tell. UTC 1/23/05 Sun 17:20 Very good this morning. Signals on 31 and 16 meter bands are much stronger than usual. Asia region with North Korea, India, Japan, China and also more southernly Australia very strong this morning. UTC 1/25 TUE 5:30 Since I got home from work today 19 meters has been pretty poor. Oh well time to look at the lower bands. Another thread indicates things may be better there. -- Telamon Ventura, California |
