Default really horrible conditions

I haven't heard Cuba since mid January, and I've heard the BBC only
intermittently in the last month. Tuesday morning (world day) was the
first time in three weeks that I've heard the BBC on 9525 at 0300 UTC! I
haven't even bothered to check Australia's 15 Mhz freqs. The only freq I
can hear the BBC on at 0300 (when they broadcast The World Today) is
5975, and even that is practically unlistenable most of the time! Are
sunspot lows always like this? Has there been some big long lasting
solar disturbance over the past month? My Degen has become practically
useless for casual listening, and my Yaesu isn't doing too well either.
What's going on? Is this the end of the world? (Hell, it's as good an
explanation as any other.)

I've found reception to be pretty good over the last few days. Where
are you located?

Yeah, Cuba seems to come through like a blowtorch sometimes...

I had my reception suddenly go really bad, and it was because my antenna
wire had come off its screw terminal outside.

A lot of fine Scotch Whiskey in Cuba is banned from being imported into
America. Why? Because it is in Cuban wooden barrels in Cuba.

Oh my God.

If it's Scotch, it's distilled in Scotland. Why we would we pay extra to
have it imported to the states through Cuba when we already have it

imported
here directly?

You two might be surprised at what a little Scotch and a hug could do for
your relationship. LMFAO!!!

That sounds like the voice of experience. So...when you drink a lot of
Scotch, do you start hugging other men? I guess I'll have to stick with
beer! g

Because I got the feeling you weren't.

Anyway I wouldn't
really know, I read it on the internet. So I figured it must be true

Hehe...my friend, you need to activate the Safe Search feature. g

P.S. I drink blended whisky.

I drink milk.

And tequila.

But never blended.

Remember how Laverne of Laverne and Shirley used to drink Pepsi and milk? I
never had the nerve to try that. Hey, if we're going to off-topic, why not
go all the way?

That it is. See, everyone? Every now and then, you -do- stumble across
wisdom on Usenet.

Well, for google anyway it's under the advanced search options. Go to
www.google.com, and to the right of the search box you'll see what you're
looking for.

P.S. I drink blended whisky.

No, no...I said never blended. I should have also said never at the same
sitting, either. Ew.
