I'm really inspired to hear this comparison. I had this gut feeling that it
would be a go getter. I'm about half way through constructing the AMRAD
active but have put the project on hold to finish some other projects (honey
do's). Actually, we moved several years ago and haven't really set up a
bench to work on such projects and got ran out of the kitchen. I'll get
back on the project when I get some benches built.

What kind of whip did your friend use? One of the whips that the AMRAD bunch
used in the QST article was a 108 inch steel whip. I have both a 108 inch
steel and a 108 in fiberglass plus a 48 in Fire Stick available. Rob Mills ~
