If you can afford to build one, have the space needed,
and nonly want to listen in one direction. If you want a LP that is rotatable, prepare to spend even more money. They are great for VHF TV, scannig, and have some utiltiy for ham radio. But for say 3~20MHz it would be HUDGE. There are better choices for HF. Terry |

If you want something that is broadband enough to cover 3-30 and as directional as a yagi, with very good directional gain, then a LP is not a "bad" choice given you have the room. B |
