I missed a month off work in 1969,gall bladder operation.I have never in
my life ever been late for work, not even once.I worked in factories and
I drove a bread truck for Sunbeam Bakery (Koestler's Sunbeam
Bakery,Vickburg,Mississippi) and I worked at Delta Cotton Oil
company.Three years (RA,Regular Army) in U.S.Army.Before all of that,I
had odd jobs such as working at a gas station,a paper route, mowing
yards,ectera.

Something Tiny-Tenna needs to think about is making Antennas that
actually do work and perform as to their wild outrageous
claims.Remember,I bought one of those Tiny-Tennas and it did not work at
all.

Always blame the antenna....NEVER the radio. A good policy.

Again....put your money where your mouth is. I will GIVE you a FREE
passive dipole antenna to prove you wrong. Why won't you take me up on
the offer? In fact....keep the TT. Just tell me where to send the
antenna, and what plug I should use for the antenna.

You doth protest too much. I'm beginning to think you're the fella we
discussed on DX Radio School. The fella who also bought the
Justice(sp?) Antenna from C. Crane and claimed that was junk, too????
Is every antenna you buy from every dealer junk???

I'd like to have you on my show. You seem to be THE EXPERT on
shortwave radio. Can we call you for tomorrow's taping???

I have never bought or used a Justice antenna before.I used to listen
Chuck Harder www.forthepeople.org www.chuckharder.com on my
radios.I have listened to his radio talk show for more than twenty
years. He used to be on an AM radio station in this area, either WJNT or
WMPQ,I don't remember which station now. Then he went to Shortwave
radio, then to satellite. One of the reasons I am going to buy myself a
Lyngsat satellite set top box with the dish and hand held remote control
in two months is so I can pick up his programs again and there are many
other free to air tv and radio programs on Lyngsat too.I used to hear
Bill Laterbach's radio commercials about Tiny-Tenna on Chuck Harder's
radio talk show. One day I decided to buy one of those Tiny-Tennas,so I
placed my order.I was believing those radio commercials about the
Tiny-Tenna too.When it got here,I followed the instructions exactly.I
installed a fresh 9 volt battery and I tried my Tiny-Tenna out on some
of my radios.I couldn't hear any difference whatsoever.Either my
Tiny-Tenna was defective when my Tiny-Tenna got here or those claims
they make about the Tiny-Tenna are pure hogwash.Of course I know how to
properly install a 9 volt battery.I have been useing 9 volt batteries in
various things since back in the 1950's.Trailer trash, you say.I have
never lived in a trailer before and I say it is wrong to say folks who
live in trailers are trailer trash. Why don't you go visit some folks who
do live in trailers? Why don't you go visit some folks who live in
regular houses? Why don't you go visit some folks who live in apartments
and hotels? Boy!,I sure was expecting my Tiny-Tenna to at least do
something,I wasen't expecting miracles though.I wonder how many of the
parts Tiny-Tenna uses to make those Tiny-Tennas are made in China? Look
at the things you own, where were they manufactured? Look around in the
stores, look at clothing articles that say,Made In U.S.A.Sure,perhaps the
name tags on some of the clothing articles are Made In U.S.A.but where
was the rest of the clothing article made/manufactured? Every one of my
old eight vehicles I own was manufactured right here in U.S.A.My oldest
vehicle dates from 1914,my newest vehicle dates from
1986.Fords,Chevrolets,and two old Jeeps,1942 Willys World War Two
Jeep,1948 Willys Civilian Jeep and one Dodge vehicle that dates from
1978.I try to buy products manufactured here in U.S.A.whenever
possible, but that is getting harder and harder to do as time goes
by.What was the latest product/items you bought, today or yesterday or
the day before? Where was it or they made/manufactured? What Country(s)?
In China? I do not like buying products manufactured in China, but how
can us Americans do otherwise? You Tell Me! I just now took another look
at the package of five resistors I bought from a Radio Shack store a
couple of years ago.Made in China for Radio Shack.A Division of Tandy
Corp,it says right there on the package.I Love America as much as
anybody else.I believe in America and American Capitalism.fed govt is
selling us down the River more and more every day! You build a
Tiny-Tenna that actually works and performs as you say it does and you
test that particular Tiny-Tenna yourself and you send it to me and if
does actually work as you say it will,I will tell the World,I will help
you sell more Tiny-Tennas.Keep the power adapter/wall wart,as they say.I
got "took" on my Tiny-Tenna I bought from you,I am not going to send
money and get "took" again.

I was just now thinking.I think my Tiny-Tenna would make a good Fishing
Lure. All I would have to do is tag a Fishing Hook on there,it already
has a line on it about seven and a half feet long.BassPro is building a
new BassPro store just across the Pearl River from Jackson by a Lake
over there in Pearl,Mississippi and folks driving along I-20 over there
will be able to see the BassPro store and that will help drag in more
customers for BassPro and about a year or so ago I read in the Clarion
Ledger www.clarionledger.com the Atlanta A's are going to move to
Pearl. There is a new Baseball Stadium being built in Pearl or so I
heard.Yeah,I can get over there and show them folks how good my
Tiny-Tenna Fishing Lure works. It would make a neat unique and ufonious
Christmas Tree Ornament too.Heck,I might as well get some kind of use
from my Tiny-Tenna,after all,I paid about $10.00 plus shipping and
handling charges for it about seven something years ago.Come on
folks,1001 uses for Tiny-Tennas? I am fixin to go over to the Goodwill
thrift store in about an hour to see what kind of junk is over there I
don't need,there might be Tiny-Tenna over there too.Drinking? I buy a
sixpack of Bud Light when I go to the food store once a week.Last
Wednesday about a week ago was the last time I went to the food store so
as soon as I check out the Goodwill thrift store this afternoon,I will
go on over to the food store too.I haven't had a drink since Tuesday
night,so I know I am sober.I never drink and drive.Nawwwwww dude,I am
not going to be on any of your radio shows for love or money.

You never read where I have ever blamed any Antennas on anything.I was
blaming my Tiny-Tenna which has proved to me years ago is not a real
Antenna or even a pretender to being a real Antenna at all.

(I'm so sorry folks.....but I CANNOT resist.....)

Hey! CuHu!!

DO NOT plug the 3.5 mm jack INTO the earphone jack. That IS NOT where
the TT jack is suppose to go! That's why your TT won't work! You are
cutting off the sound! You put the TT in the ANTENNA jack! OK???
Good....

(Somebody actually did this once. I kid you not! And then you wonder
why Customer Service reps at your cable TV, sat TV, phone company talk
down to you? Cuz people can be just dumber than rocks!)

No one's calling you stupid ... at least not me ... for I find myself
in exactly the same financial situation you are in.
And I have a master's degree in electrical engineering (which drew me
to your posting and the replies on the TinyTenna), a 163 I.Q., and a
published book ... all of which, as Chuck Harder might say, would
together with a dollar would buy you a cup of coffee at McDonalds ...
which is just about as good as a $1.62 cup o' joe at Starbucks or
Caribou.
Speaking of stupid, though, I really wonder about Chuck Harder. I
listen to him talk on the radio about abstract stuff like politics,
economics, social issues, history, religion, and related topics, and it
just doesn't come out quite right.
For example, take economics - specifically, inflation.
Chuck Harder understands that we've had a lot of inflation since 1964
.... he goes on and on about the wondrous prices we paid for basic
necessities back then, then compares these to what we're shelling out
today.
But as Chuck tells it, all this inflation happened yesterday, not over
the past 40 years. Why, I was just recently paying 29 cents for a loaf
of bread, Chuck intones on his show, and yesterday I went to the local
Wal-Mart and the exact same loaf was $1.49. How terrible! No wonder our
dollar is in the crapper viz. the Euro!
Huh?
When was the last time anyone under 45 could remember paying 29 cents
for a loaf of bread?
I'm 46, and I certainly can't.
Chuck seems to have a problem with temporal cognition, a
fancy-schamntzy term for difficulty in telling time over very long
periods - a characteristic of adolescent brain development. If true,
this would imply that Chuck has an adolescent intellect - or in crude,
politically-incorrect parlance, is a numbskull, a lamebrain, an
imbecile, or a moron.
(You can tell I'm a Three Stooges fan ... I voted for W. too ... oh,
how so Red Nation!)
