![]() Try to set up as long a wire antenna as possible; way over 100 feet most Dxpeditions use 800 foot + wire antennas.. Set it up so the broad end ( length) points toward what your trying to pick up signals from; If you r in the south, and want to pick up stuff from the north, set the antenna up in an east- west line. Keep it away from electrical equipment, electrical lines. Disconnect it when not in use ( Lightning) after you have it set up, turn on your radio to a frequency with no signal nearby but one far away you want to try picking up Now move the antenna wire closer to the radio.. Poke at it.. Should be fun |
