Set it up so the broad end ( length) points toward what your trying to pick up signals from; If you r in the south, and want to pick up stuff from the north, set the antenna up in an east- west line. No... if you want to pick up stuff from the north one would wish to have the length of the antenna running south to north. This would be true of a long Beverage type of antenna. Keep it away from electrical equipment, electrical lines. Disconnect it when not in use ( Lightning) after you have it set up, turn on your radio to a frequency with no signal nearby but one far away you want to try picking up Now move the antenna wire closer to the radio.. Poke at it.. Should be fun |
