... Listening to the radio and heard new reports on the Italian incident. It seems that the whole event was caught by satellite and the car that was carrying the reporter was traveling in excess of 60 mph. There are also reports that a ransom of about 2 million dollars was paid to the terrorists to secure the reporter's release. It seems the soldiers were telling the truth. How come I'm not surprised? Because you choose only to believe the parts of what you hear that concur with your pre-judgement. This happened in the dead of night in a war-torn country. The chances of a satellite contributing anything of relevance is very small, and the chances of you being privvy to it are zero. You will never know the truth, and to convince yourself otherwise is ridiculous. Have the US never played dirty? Have the Italians never played dirty? Which of the two liars are we to believe? |
