Purple-Octopus is a new online space that aims to give life to a
different creative multimedia experience. The concept rather simple,
one common idea is developed in different forms and then takes many
directions: a short story, illustrations, videos, animations that are
both presented individually, each an inspiration for the other, and
then explode and implode in converging nodes including publications,
DVDs, and online animated comics. All content is created and thought
exclusively for the Internet, the site itself being a multimedia
palace.

The first BETA incarnation launched today includes a basic design,
short stories, videos, illustrations, a range of services, and a first
comic animation . The site furthermore includes a Blog
where current work in progress is anticipated. This first version was
developed thanks to the efforts of six young artists and their
different skills, ranging from writers, animators, and visual artists.

Purple-Octopus aims to become open space creativity fuelled by the
minds of young fresh talent worldwide that produces multimedia content
for the Internet driven by pure creativity and passion for what they
love most.
