Lil' something for Al P.
little something from an old friend in the UK. we had been back and
forth about the new road use tax in the UK. and how it would be sure to spread to the USA when that loser gang in DC figures how they can make money off it. (and screw the regular people). she is a wonderful lady, and a real Christian in the good sense. thought you might want to read what she just emailed me today. wondering what you think of this? and the short connection is i heard this on the beeb last week. "from bad to worse".... ************************************************** *************************************** Subject: Things going from bad to worse Date: Sun, 5 Jun 2005 21:36:47 +0100 From: "Carol" To: Drifter, Yeah, the British government is considering scrapping fuel tax and replacing it with a new road charge based on the distance and time motorists travel. And now they want to remove Bibles from hospitals (see attachment), and now a crucifix has been taken down at Newham General Hospital’s chapel in East London. Instead, there was a bowl used by Muslim worshippers to wash their feet before they pray. This last stunt was reported in the Daily Express on Saturday, June 4. Please pass this information on to anyone you know. If it’s happening here, it will most likely happen in the United States (if it’s not already happening). Christians cannot let this sort of thing happen. The move by the hospital was condemned by the Evangelical Alliance last night (the article continues). General Director Joel Edwards said: “It’s particularly hard to understand – bemusing – as other faiths have never shown or expressed any disquiet about the presence of Christian literature and specifically the Bible being on display. In a multi-faith society we have a responsibility to ensure that people of all faiths have room to express their faith. But to do this to the exclusion of Christian faith is not only absurd but is ludicrously unequal.” http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/l...re/4605827.stm Sound familiar? Yeah, the British government is considering scrapping fuel tax and replacing it with a new road charge based on the distance and time motorists travel. Sounds like the Socialist NeoComie Labour Government in Britain. And now they want to remove Bibles from hospitals (see attachment), and now a crucifix has been taken down at Newham General Hospital's chapel in East London. More Socialist NeoCommie Judiciary rulings. Instead, there was a bowl used by Muslim worshippers to wash their feet before they pray. Forget about gay and lesbians and start making a herd load of babies and you wouldn't have an emigrant problem in Europa. But the Socialist NeoComs are brainwashing you with population control and nursing your egos' need to consume instead of invest in the future generation. Sound familiar? Remove prayer from schools.can't display the Nativity at Christmas.removal of Bibles.what next? Get ride of the Leftwing Judiciary! |

Does anyone have any respect for the public servants in office and
courts who allow this? Don't they think it is dangerous when you start creating a society where the citizens you are supposed to serve wanna kill ya? Makes you wonder what they are thinking, doesn't it? Expect it to arrive here, if it isn't already present. I made the
statement, years ago, that the two fairest taxes are the sales tax and toll roads. It isn't fair to tax those who have (owners of real estate) to provide for those who never tried to have or had some awful priorities such as throwing their money away on booze, broads or drugs. :-) "Income" is a terrible tax because it punishes a person for trying to accumulate something, while letting those in black market trades get by without paying it. Bootleggers, drug dealers, prostitutes, con men and spies all spend money. Therefore, the sales tax collects from ALL regardless of the source or legality of their income. Likewise, the road tolls. The roads are paid for by those who use them. If you order something by mail or truck then you help to pay for the roads, indirectly, because the user (truck lines, etc.) has to pass the tax along to his customers. BUT!!! Wicked men will attempt to find a way to abuse anything. Ecclesiastes 10:2 tells us, "A wise man’s heart directs him toward the right, but the foolish man’s heart directs him toward the left." [New American Standard Bible : 1995 update. 1995 (Ec 10:2). LaHabra, CA: The Lockman Foundation.] This might explain a lot about the choices politicians make! Another verse comes to mind. II Timothy 3:13, "But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived." KJV / AV Also, Scriptures tell us that the most wicked of all kingdoms is coming, is going to be very short lived and after that Jesus Christ is going to set up His kingdom ON THIS EARTH! This is what has the wicked so frightened. They FEAR and TREMBLE at the thoughts of Jesus Christ setting up His kingdom on this earth and their actually having to give an account for all the wickedness they have done. I believe we are entering those times right now. Christians will be persecuted from ALL "legal" systems. It is very difficult for them to get justice in the courts already. Scriptures tell the Christian to train up his children in the way God would have them go. The courts tell them to let some atheistic, unionized, God hating goof ball train them in the way the state wants them to go. It's "legal" for a woman to pay some Christ hating jerk to rip her child from her body and flush it down a toilet or sell it's tiny body parts. It's "illegal" for a person to stand on a sidewalk and attempt to talk a woman out of having her baby butchered that day! Go figure! It's going to get MUCH WORSE before it gets any better. HOWEVER, God protected the Hebrew Children, descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, from EVERY ONE of the plagues He brought up Egypt. God protected the three Hebrew boys INSIDE the fiery furnace. God protected Daniel IN the lion's den. Read Matthew 24. Don't expect the "secret rapture" that so many of the churches tell us about. Read Hebrews 11. God is ABLE to deliver, but some went through some awful tortures in the past and the future will be even worse. God will provide the strength and stamina for the faithful when the time comes. I noticed in the paper recently that Elizabeth Dole, a "right wing conservative" - MY EYE, is planning to vote for CAFTA (?) Central American Free Trade Agreement. Remember that it was her husband, Robert Dole, who PRETENDED to be against NAFTA but when the time came he did the arm twisting to get it pushed through. But that's a whole new topic of its own! I'll not go with it yet! It does tend to show that step by step the whole earth is being formed into that ten-toed kingdom made of iron and clay (non-cohesive) which will attempt to overthrow God and His kingdom. Stay tuned! It's like a trip to King's Dominion. It's going to be a very bumpy ride, but it'll be a lot of fun when God's plan is finally worked out. Actually, it's being worked out now. He's a GREAT CHESS PLAYER! He's just letting Satan *think* he is winning - for a while. :-) Hope this helps. =========== Drifter wrote: little something from an old friend in the UK. we had been back and forth about the new road use tax in the UK. and how it would be sure to spread to the USA when that loser gang in DC figures how they can make money off it. I would rather burn in hell for eternity than kiss Jesus's ass for
eternity. That's what Christianity boils down to: Jesus saying "kiss my ass and go to heaven and everybody who doesn't kiss my ass will be thrown into the lake of fire". And then the Bible says that Jesus will FORCE everybody to kiss his ass-"every knee shall bow and every tongue confess". I suppose that like every dictator, the Heavenly Dictator thinks that forcing people to kiss his ass equates to approval of his leadership and actions. When the dictator can throw you into a firepit for refusing to kowtow to him, most people would bow their knees and confess their "love" for him, a sad testament to moral cowardice. And then after a few generations the descendants of the kowtowers eagerly join the dictator's minions in throwing the refuseniks into the fire. This is what Christianity (and most other religions) is based on, the concept that God is a Middle Eastern sheik who can order people around like slaves and use the threat of eternal punishment to ensure meek subservience. Your religion is ****ing sick. Have you actually READ the Bible? Your god is always killing people, 40,000 here, 70,000 there, just because they're not forthcoming in joyous enough praise of him. What a sick ****er your god is, force people to praise him, and if that praise isn't sufficient it's off to hell they go. And of course it's moral and just because God says it is, and he's God so he's responsible to nobody and he has the final word, so he can slaughter thousands all day long and then call it perfect justice. Take your preaching and shove it up Jesus's ass, then kiss it. I for one hope Satan wins. If God wins, we're all ****ed. Al Patrick wrote: Expect it to arrive here, if it isn't already present. Sounds like the Socialist NeoComie Labour Government in Britain. No, it sounds like a very sensible idea to all parties (I'm a member of the right-wing UK Conservative party) when you consider that we have: * 50 million people with * 30 million vehicles on an island only * 700 miles long. What's missing from the description is "congestion". The proposed system is based on congestion, multiplied by distance and time travelled. Driving in crowded London (where there are busses every 3 minutes anyway) will cost more. Driving in my home county of Gloucestershire (a rural area, my village has one bus per week - on Monday) will cost a lot less. Currently of the 5 dollars a gallon of gas I pay, more than 3 dollars of this is tax. I pay this tax even though I drive down empty rural roads. They want to change this so that I pay only 2 dollars a gallon for gas, PLUS 2p per mile to drive down empty rural roads. Sounds like a sensible right-wing tax-cutting winner to me! Forget about gay and lesbians and start making a herd load of babies and you wouldn't have an emigrant problem in Europa. I quite agree. Wish me well with my marriage on Saturday! We're hoping to have kids next year. Us Europeans aren't all liberal urban homosexuals. Heck, dude, I live next to a farm and have a rifle range in my back yard. That's why the new road charge proposals are good; it stops punishing good old-fashioned country folk like me and puts the burden of gas tax back on the urban people where it belongs. -- Andrew Oakley andrew/atsymbol/aoakley/stop/com |

"Andrew Oakley" wrote They want to change this so that I pay only 2 dollars a gallon for gas, PLUS 2p per mile to drive down empty rural roads. Sounds like a sensible right-wing tax-cutting winner to me! We have had toll roads here on certain interstate highways for many years. If they expand on this concept, which is possible, they won't cut any taxes here. Forget about gay and lesbians and start making a herd load of babies and you wouldn't have an emigrant problem in Europa. I quite agree. Wish me well with my marriage on Saturday! We're hoping to have kids next year. Hopefully at least three! And don't wait to long between each of them. Us Europeans aren't all liberal urban homosexuals. Heck, dude, I live next to a farm and have a rifle range in my back yard. I understand. But what you hear from the media on both sides of the pond makes you think they are the vast majority. That's why the new road charge proposals are good; it stops punishing good old-fashioned country folk like me and puts the burden of gas tax back on the urban people where it belongs. We have vehicle license tax, fuel tax and local, state and federal taxes. A portion of each is allocated to new road construction and maintenance. Not to mention highway tolls extorted on certain highways as mentioned above. Enough! Now get to it and procreate so we can have more productive, tax paying citizens. Congratulations! |
