If the 'West' stopped killing them and stealing their land and resources, you

That has to be among the most naive statements I have read so far this
year.

I think it's too late to say "get out of Iraq and stop propping up the
Saudi royals and they'll go away". The original point of Al Qaeda was to
overthrow the Saudi monarchy. But it's metastasized into a much bigger
mission of "kill anybody and everybody who doesn't believe exactly as we
do". In that case, they'll never run out of people to kill, and if they
do, 95% of the world will be dead and the jihadin will be forced into a
hunter gatherer lifestyle.

Jihadists resent the success of modern western society and they see it as

If you want to get all righteous about displaced peoples in modern times,
look at most any underdeveloped country on the African continent.

95% Palestinian. Instead, the corrupt Arab rulers kept the Palestinians
as refugees living in ghettoes in the hope that they would form the

consequences.

You found links detailing alleged Israeli atrocities?! Imagine that! Well,
here's a google link to a simple search for Palestinian atrocities. I see
*at least* 10 pages worth of links. I, for one, see the whole mess as akin
to a mutual afray. Others, like yourself, feel compelled to support one
side or the other. That depth of gullibility deserves a chuckle! Both sides
are to blame on *ALL* accounts. They both perpetuate the situation equally.
I don't see how an unbiased observer could come to any other conclusion...

Yeah, it started out as the Arabs trying to kick the Jews out, but both
sides have their fair share of atrocities now.

If we can contain the damage to the Middle East, it might not be too
bad. The only real downside in that case would be that most of the
world's oil supply would be inaccessible. But if we can have them hit
the cities, and keep the oil workers in underground shelters to protect
them from the radiation, then that wouldn't be too bad. The only rule is
that the US or Russia isn't allowed to intervene. Israel has nukes, and
the Arabs have chemical weapons, so it would be a nice complete kill.
