the recent attacks in Great Britain.

The only two higher levels in France are "Surrender" and "Collaborate".

The raise was precipitated by a recent fire which destroyed France's
white flag factory, effectively disabling their military.

The French don't use quaint graphic "alert levels". They use one colour:
Red. The colour of the dripping corpse of anyone who even *thinks* about
terrorism.

second time since WWII that the terror alert level has been raised this
high. In the only other such incident, two men were captured in a Lyon
hotel room with two cases of California wines, and suitcase full of
Velveeta.
