"Telamon" So what have you been listening to on SW lately Burr? -- Telamon Ventura, California Dear Mr. Telamon, Thank you for asking about my DXing life. At this time all of my big SW radios are in the Philippines waiting for me. I'll have to work out the longwires when I get there. I will be totally dependent on SW for all my entertainment. At this time I have the YB400 from my briefcase to use and my BC 245. Mostly I keep the BC245 on. Again Mr. Telamon, I want to thank you for inquiring about my radio life. Burr PS: If you don't like others post then don't open them!!! Have a Happy |

At this time all of my big SW radios are in the Philippines waiting for me. I'll have to work out the longwires when I get there. I will be totally dependent on SW for all my entertainment. I'll be looking forward to reception reports from you when you get there. At this time I have the YB400 from my briefcase to use and my BC 245. Mostly I keep the BC245 on. So if you only have portables on the west coast I expect that you are mostly listening evenings and early mornings. The propagation have been variable of late and I wanted to know what you have been listening to and how your reception has been. Again Mr. Telamon, I want to thank you for inquiring about my radio life. Most people reading the news group want to know, that's why we read the news group so no thanks necessary. PS: If you don't like others post then don't open them!!! The computer shows me what I want to see depending on how I program it so I don't have to see, evaluate and then decide what posts I want to read every time I down new posts. Lately filters have been auto deleting about two thirds of the posts to RRS. This saves time and effort, which is what the computer is supposed to do for you. -- Telamon Ventura, California |

They use portables on the left coast because of all them earthquakes and
hill slides and road rage and wild fires over there so they can keep up with news on the run. cuhulin |
