My experience would seem to bear you out, Telemon. I have a 330S and
originally had it on a rotor. However, because the antenna's
directional characteristics disappear at around 4 mhz or so, and I
don't do a lot of listening 'down there', I opted for a simpler setup
without a rotor. It'd be different if I had a 1530 though. I think I'd
insist on a rotor then, since the 1530 operates best on the lower
frequencies.
