That gear train is just amazing to me. That alone makes one worth
having. Thay are getting rather pricey though.

on the night table i have a grundig S350
an RX-320D for computer, fr200 emergency and grundig 100pe for playing
around with , Hoping for a grundig 800 soon.

That is why it would have to be a project radio, rather than one that
has already been rebuilt.
