This example pretty much sums things up. ''I prosecute polluters on behalf of the Natural Resources Defense Council, Riverkeeper and Waterkeeper Alliance. As George W. Bush began his presidency, I was involved in litigation against the factory-pork industry, which is a large source of air and water pollution in America. Corporate pork factories cannot produce more efficiently than traditional family farmers without violating several federal environmental statutes. Industrial farms illegally dump millions of tons of untreated fecal and toxic waste onto land and into the air and water. Factory farms have contaminated hundreds of miles of waterways, put tens of thousands of family farmers and fishermen out of work, killed billions of fish, sickened consumers and subjected millions of farm animals to unspeakable cruelty'' -RFK Jr. This RFK guy, isn't he related to that Senator from Massachusetts who should have been jailed long ago for murder or manslaughter? dxAce Michigan USA |

Do you agree that by simply declaring a situation as an "Incident of National Significance," the feds should be allowed increased authority that could countermand the authority of a Governor? How about if the Governer resists it? As I understand it, the Governor retains control of civilian law enforcement and authority over any state's NG which have been sent to her for that purpose. No sane governor would say no to federal disaster relief. Chertoff is a bigger idiot than Bush or Brown. Apparently the only people in the Executive Branch following events were Bush's staff and they were afraid to tell him how bad it was. |

S...w Halliburton and Kellog,Brown & Root and Bechtel! We can rebuild this town ourselves.About a mile West of me on Highway 80 is an old ex Lowes store that went out of business about 16 years ago.It is nowdays a sort of a storage place and they have some vans sitting out there for rent too.I remember seeing a storm/tornado shelter for sale that is sitting in the fenced in area.I might run by there one day this week and ask about that shelter. cuhulin |

Tell me, are you open and honest with your therapist? Do you discuss your unfounded fears with him/her? Have any medications lessened the effects of your paranoia? dxAce Michigan USA |
