If I still had a schematic of the 8800 I could tell you exactly what to
do to correct problem this assuming it's just the PLL trimmer coil in the oscillator circuit (which it usually is). There is a test point associated with this coil and if you adjust the coil slug for an exact voltage at the test point with the receiver set to a certain frequency it usually fixes it. The adjustment is in one of the metal cans on the top PC board. If someone can Email me a readible copy of the schematic I can advise you. Frank K3YAZ Tucson |
