www.devilfinder.com How to open up a President Washington CB Radio
Most of those kinds of CB radios have a few screws on each side of the radio.Remove the screws and the top cover of the radio cabinet should easily lift right off.Spray a few drops of WD-40 (use the little hollow plastic tube with the WD-40) on the shaft area of where the knob fits on to the shaft and tap on the knob lightly a few times with the plastic (or wood) handle of a screwdriver and wait a few minutes and try to pull the knob off.Make sure there isn't a little set screw on the side of the knob holding the knob on to the shaft. You can drill a little hole in the front of the plastic knob and squirt some WD-40 in there too, that might help. cuhulin |
