RHF. if you had looked at the post, you will note it said-"Vets Day". i
posted this, not because
i'm a democrat, or a repub. i posted it because i'm a Vet. so, it
matters little to me who is in
power, i don't like to see the Vets get screwed. if your a Vet, you
would understand. if your not,
you wouldn't. simple as that. mostly my politics are local. if your
local news has been reporting
on the crowd we have in Harrisburg, and their late night pay raise, you
will see what i'm fighting
against right now. i don't have a lot of time for the DC crowd. you seem
to trout the repub line every
chance you get. i suggest you stop looking under your bed before you get
up, i hope there isn't a
demo, or a repub under it. and, you may stop seeing demo's every where
you look. if your a repub, i
suggest you start questioning the people you put in office. i'm an
independent. so, i vote with
my heart and my head. i mostly split my ticket. i voted for W the first
time because i liked the
job his Dad did: not as as pres, but with the CIA. as i found out, W
isn't his Dad. the last election
i held my nose and voted for lesser of two evils. God, what a choice we
had. so, please, don't put me
in one party or the other. so, can we please get back to shortwave? and,
i don't wish to add you
to my killfile, i enjoy your antenna post too much. and your enthusiasm
for this hobby is wonderful.
i always read your post here and on the yahoo antenna group. i will be
so glad when my medical leave
is over. i never thought i would miss my job so much. and, get me away
from this computer, i'm
spending way too much time reading these newsgroups, and not playing
with my radios.
