South African "Pirate" Station Shut Down
Ah, yes... the wonders of Communist-run South Africa... continually
deny a license to a White radio station and then shut it down because it is "operating illegally", all the time whining to the media that birthday and social announcements are a "racist" broadcast! ============================================ "Racist" Radio Shut Down http://antiracistlosers.blogspot.com...shut-down.html The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) has shut down and confiscated the broadcast equipment of the only radio station catering to Afrikaner people in the country. Although the official reason for Klub100 being shut down is because it was broadcasting without a license, ICASA official Lydia de Souza whined incessently to Reuters and the ever-so politically correct BBC about the station broadcasting "racist" material. "The station was run by pirates," de Souza said. What is considered "racist" broadcasting material remains unclear but because Klub100 was set up and run by and for White Afrikaners, the very nature of the station could be considered "racist" under the viciously anti-White regime ruling South Africa. The station was set up in Orania, a haven for Afrikaners who took refuge in a disused settlement in the semi-arid Northern Cape in the hopes of making it the center of a Volkstaat (Afrikaner people's state). The Communist ANC-regime is attempting to destroy efforts to create an Afrikaner homeland through redistricting the area into a neighboring non-white district. ICASA spokesman Sebastian Meyer said the regulatory commission was investigating charges that Club 100 was broadcasting political propoganda. "A resident laid a complaint because they say they are using propaganda language on the radio they were feeling very uncomfortable with. We're just going to do a further investigation on our side and a course of action will be announced within seven days," Meyer said. Orania's management said Club 100 had repeatedly applied for a broadcast license and was merely holding tests, which consisted of birthday and social announcements, not political propoganda or "racist" comments. At no time was the station officially broadcasting, Orania management said in a statement, which also rejected the "racist" charges "because it is not the policy of the (Orania) management to allow the broadcast of any racist or anti-government comments.". |
