You have a point about using the amp for a remote antenna. However, I'm
not sure you want 50 ohms impedance on the input. I haven't check the price of the amp, but you should compare it to the Wellbrook ALA100, which could be used in the same application (remote antenna), plus it is designed strictly for loop antenna applications. It also floats the antenna above ground, i.e. the input is balanced.
