This may sound odd, but out of the two (i have both) i prefer the older
7600D over the newer 7600GR, I find it very easy to operate on ssb, where the 7600gr is a pig. it is easier to operate and the scanning through the bands is far easier on the 7600D, just wish it had more memories. just my opinion. Roger |

IMine is quite old, but I don't recall the D nomenclature. However, for
SSB, it only has a clarifier. I never cosidered that to be a good solution for sideband. Hi, No I agree, but I find it easier to "tune in" on ssb. The sony76000gr in my opinion is one of the most difficult, fidgeity radios to use on ssb, dont get me wrong, it is a brilliant radio, I just don't like the ssb side of it. regards Rog |
