This may sound odd, but out of the two (i have both) i prefer the older
7600D over the newer 7600GR, I find it very easy to operate on ssb, where
the 7600gr is a pig. it is easier to operate and the scanning through the
bands is far easier on the 7600D, just wish it had more memories.
