I'm not much into broadcasts... except maybe Radio Havanna. They're funny. I'm more into odd signals and digital modes. Radars, ship to shore, maritime fsk/sitor, anything coded. I've just gotten back to regular listening. I was languishing a bit during a down-time for my antenna (literally---it blew out of the tree). But I'm back now with about 75 feet of random wire. Listening in Southern California with an R75 and a Drake SW4A. I've always been a fan of interval signals and national anthems, especially Radio Netherlands, first national anthem I heard forty years ago when I started listening. I also like time signal stations. ---- Yes, I remember Radio Netherlands actually having pretty entertaining programming. If you know a good frequency for them now let me know. I'm in San Diego. Got a Kenwood TS-440 and a 40m, 20m, 10m dipole up not real high. -- rb |
