Deutsche Welle DRM on 3995 kHz
Byung Myung Sying wrote:
For DRM experimenters, the DW transmission using DRM on 3995 kHz is coming in fabulously here in Detroit at 0300 UTC on 27-Dec-2005 with no dropouts and excellent fidelity. It's too bad that their DRM transmissions wreak such havoc with the hams trying to operate in the 80 meter ham band! It's only the 80m ham band in the "Americas". In Deutchland it's a shortwave broadcast band. Technicly hams that try to operate on that frequency are at fault, not DW. DW is operating legaly, and therefore they are obligated to keep off the frequency. Geoff. -- Geoffrey S.
