Lucky Don't expect to much from it, Its certainly nowhere near as good as they say it is, I doubt to be honest if you will notice much difference at all over your degan 1103, except of course the Sony has sync detection (to a point) its not very good. I sold my 7600gr on as i found the degan just as good to use as a portable, and its smaller. rgm Wow I'm actually shocked to hear this in a way. Not shocked because the 1003 is excellent little portable. Kinda hard to get SSB audible if the signal is weak on it, but other then that it's a fantastic little gem. But I am shocked you sold your Sony. I always heard such high acclaims about the 7600GR. So, I just received my Amazon/Chase credit card and Amazon had it for $135.99 and free shipping last night. Plus I get that $30 off first Amazon purchase so the radio cost me a grand total of $105.99 I figured for that money, it had to be worth it when I heard people say it was worth $165 that people once paid for it. Heck people are still paying over $150 for it excluding shipping. I paid $65 for the Degen 1103 shipped so for $40 bucks more, I thought I got a heck of a deal. Lucky |
