Have any proof of your statements? I've done some research online about
these units, I've read of a few problems, but never once have I read
anything about a unit shorting out, let alone causing a fire..

You really shouldn't spread false information like you do, some day it's
going to come back and bite you in the ass!

Even some American brand names of some products sometimes burn some
houses down.I think it was a certain American brand name of electric
coffee makers that a number of them did catch fire and there was that
Daimler/Chrysler hybrid car on recharging the batteries in a certain
garage in Florida that did burn most of that house down.(Look em up) One
thing is for sure,y'all will never catch me buying a Kaito or Degen
"radio"
