Hmm, I've heard a few tales on where chile originated; Texas, New
Mexico, Mexico and the truly specific "someplace in the Southwest."
The only common thread is that it was made by cowboys (vaqueros) who
were trying to find a way to make their meat more palatable. I hope
you serve the beans as a separate entree.

Well I hope you had 'real chile' ........ you know, the stuff made
with chunks of meat and no beans (as I recall from when I lived in
Michigan the 'chile' used kidney beans and was more akin to goulash).
If you have the stuff like you get at Wendy's you would have to be a
