Someone is going to make a nice addition to their collection. Amazing
that an NOS radio of that age can be found....


In the Era Before Ebay, I owned a NOS Sony transistor radio from 1962.
It was spotless in the box with every single accessory. It even had the
original 20 cent C type batteries, without a spot of corrosion. I got it
from a baby boomer who was given it as an 18th birthday present but for
some weird reason had just stashed it on a shelf. Hard to believe that I
got just $35 for it when I sold it in 1996.
