Well, if one is really afraid, one should live in a lead lined chamber 20
feet into solid granite s. Just remember that neutrinos and cosmic rays are probably more powerful. Neutrinos can fly unimpeded through the earth and out again by the billions. Also, since the earth's magnetic field is weakening rapidly, more auroras are possible and so is brain damage from the radiation thereby capable of reaching us through that weakened field. Not to worry, it could be thousands of years yet before the poles change LOL.
