Default BBC transmitter problems on 15,390

BBC was having some problems on 15,390 this afternoon with the
transmitter cutting in and out so many times I gave up listening to them.

Those things are more trouble than they're worth.

Try 15400 (West/Central Africa) that starts at 16:00 (but doesn't
come in until later) until 23:00. It ranges from crummy to adequate
here in Seattle.

Mark how is the reception for Mongolia on the west coast?

Time? Frequency? Any English language programs?

About 15 years ago, I had an insomia session and the 5 MHz band was quiet
enough to pick up most/all of their 5 MHz regionals, lined up just like
the page in Passport. I gather those transmitters are off the air now.

I've not noticed anything from there since then, except for the Chinese
Mongolian language programs on 6195 which battle it out with the BBC
every morning.

(I'm largely a program listener, with a table full of timers and
cassette tape recorders to pick up the stuff that comes in when I'm
asleep).
