With more and more stations testing IBOC at night, it won't be long now before all you hear on the AM band at night will be IBOC hash. ![]() How many stations are testing HD at night? I have only heard of a couple of very specific tests, such as the WLW and WOR skywave test a few years ago. Daytime, night time, anytime... IBOC = QRM HD is not allowed at night (with a minor exception in deep winter months), and there is little reason to test at night something that is totally legal in daytime hours. |
