Not sure what would hapen with the 1/4 wave matching secton but if you
extend it to 1/2 wavelenght you will find you have just reinvented the
double zepp antenna with about 1.8 db of gain. If you extend each side to
1.3 wavelengths devided by 2 you will have an extended couble zepp with more
gain.
