Hello:
I understand the usage of the Squelch control on a radio, but am not sure of the terminology. When Squelch is "Open," it means exactly what, please ? Thanks, B. |

You must run quickly to your nearest radio repair shop and buy a can of squelch to replace what you lost! (jk) Serious answer: It means that the circuit to limit/cancel background (RF) noise is not engaged, usually because the operator has turned the threshold down below the noice level. |
