Another CanaDUH Sealing Boat Sinks

Some countries just can't succeed at anything. Seven sealers were rescued Saturday afternoon, hours after their boat sank in icy waters off Cape Breton in eastern Canada, reported Canadian Press. The sealers, who abandoned their wooden boat as it took on water and waited on the pack ice for help, were rescued by a search-and-rescue helicopter 20 km northeast of Cape North in NovaScotia, according to the report. The wooden sealing boat ran into trouble in the same frigid waters where another such boat capsized earlier Saturday, leaving three sealers dead and another missing. Canada's annual seal hunt season began Friday in the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Ottawa has set a quota of 275,000 animals in this year's hunt, up 5,000 from last year.
