Default Redsun portable on safari

Last week I went on safari to a spectacular game ranch with my trusty
Redsun RP2100 (same as CCradio=SW) and the tiny little Grundig G8.
The game viewing was marvellous and radio reception was good. See:
http://www.sanbona.com/properties/default.asp

Stations heard on the RP2100 we-
1521,1512 & 1440 Saudi Arabia
1557 Nice France (8700 km's/5400 miles away)
1377 R. Free Afrika Tanzania
1296 Sudan
1170 R Sawa Al Dubbiya UAE

SW great reception of English service of BBC, Deutsche Welle & R.
Nederland
Great FM reception of the Ladismith station 160km/100miles away

The RP2100 is frankly the best portable I have ever used, and that
includes a Sony 2010.
For fifty bucks the tiny little Grundig G8 is also an good performer.

Anyone who would like to see my game pictures can request them at

Good DX and have fun

There seems to be a great deal of variation in the ratings. A few of the
users seem to have gotten poor workmanship. Those that had good sets
were very happy.
