Last weekend was great fun. For those of you that participated
(non-club members also welcome) we will be on the same QSY frequency as the previous two weeks.....as you all know, we are getting tons of new pledges, but you MUST have a physical address,,,no PO Boxes, no exception. Renaldo repeats his email several times during the two hour window, for those who want further information. Remember, this frequency has been cw only for some time, and the club would love to keep it that way. By the numbers: Britain: 43 Canada: 27 Spain: 16 USA: 12 Australia: 8 Ireland: 3 Greenland:1 Mexico: 1 Africa: 1 France: 1 Some members said QSL cards have already began arriving from overseas. The weekend division designee is still up for grabs. Happy DXing. |

SEE THE AUTHOR(S) LISTED ON THE WEB PAGES WHERE THE QUOTES WERE COPIED FROM. -- Leland C. Scott KC8LDO ARRL Member NCI Member I remember this guy's site, Leland. It's the one with such altruistic advertising policies but buys his cobra from his top advertiser, Bill's 2 Way. "GMRS Web reserves the right to refuse service to anyone without explanation. Banner ads should be related in some way to the two-way radio, wireless products, or the personal communications industry. No adult oriented ads or ads encouraging illegal activity are permitted (including ads for export CB radios that are really intended to promote the illegal CB radio market in this country.) Communications companies that specialize in selling illegal radio equipment in U.S. markets or in making illegal radio transmitter modifications should look elsewhere." Check out www.bills2way.com ; Nope, no "illegal" CB stuff there. What a hypocrite, LMAO. Remember this thread? http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=e...d6b336f&rnum=1 Moral? What I actually find find sad is the relative absence of FCC enforcement behind 46K complaints. When they DO strike, it's usually against a freebanding ham who is running 30 or so Watts SSB on a RCI-2950 rather than "Kilowat Charlie" running a 10kW mobile on AM. Get the demographic implication, Leland? -- Leland C. Scott KC8LDO -- 73 de Bert WA2SI |

Personally I feel that anyone that breaks the rules should get nailed, all rules apply to all equally. I've admitted to having freebanded before I got my ticket, and to running power. I still have radios that are capable of tuning to the freeband but they are not even hooked up these days. My license, and my money are not worth the trouble the freeband can cause me. 73 de Keith -- -- KC8TCQ ARRL Member - ARES |

Who runs that site?
What proof do you offer that those numbers are real? It's just another stupid witch hunt. Steve "Leland C. Scott" wrote in message ... "jim" wrote in message ... Leland C.
