![]() Hmm.. WHY would you want to know where a transmitter is ?? WHat's the point of knowing GPS coordinates for a moving radio transmitter.. ?? wrote: Hi I'm curently working on a project for college, I am thinking of building a portable shortwave transmitter that can send me gps cordanates to show me where it is. I face certain problems as im not sure what frequncy to use e.g groundwave or skywave. Aswell would it be possible to send data over a HF i heard that there is much interferance from it, is this possible? and how much power would you reckon i would need to transmit a fair distance say no more than 100 miles(considering this device has to be portable). thanks in advance. paulos |
